I’m Jason Pack, host of The Disorder Podcast, and we’re excited to announce formally that we have joined the Evergreen Podcasts Network.

What drew us in? Evergreen’s a strategic partner that supports creators with smart growth tools—like cross-promotion and curated guesting—to grow our US audience and reach new, global audiences. As we continue exploring the hidden frameworks behind global disorder, we’re excited to collaborate with a network that’s equally committed to elevating complex, meaningful content. We can’t wait to bring our listeners along as we grow with Evergreen Podcasts and introduce new audiences to the vital conversations at the heart of Disorder.

We have been saving one of our best episodes ever for this new relaunch and here it is… my interview with intellectual idol Robert Kaplan, whose ideas are notoriously similar to that of the Enduring Disorder.

(Listen here on Apple Podcasts; or here on Spotify)

Disorder is a show where we look for historical parallels to better understand our current age of Global Enduring Disorder… It is also a show where once and a while we stumble across novel and yet explanatory parallels like the idea that the problems of Weimar Germany have gone global and sometimes we even get to interview world famous scholars who have come up with these novel parallels and have brilliantly extracted useful kernels about the interconnectivity of different crises, especially as pertains to institutional weakness, deliberate disorderers, and the rise of populist would-be strong men.

Today, Jason Pack is joined by Robert Kaplan: a New York Times bestselling author whose famous books Balkan Ghosts, the Coming Anarchy, the Arabists, and The Revenge of Geography have been extremely influential in developing the concept of the Enduring Disorder.

As part of our partnership with the New Books Network, we discuss his latest book, Waste Land: A World in Permanent Crisis.

Robert and Jason discuss the rise of populism, the impact of globalization, and the decline of institutions and leadership. Plus: the significance of constitutional monarchy and the current decline of the major global powers. And as they Order the Disorder – they look at how the failure of the neo-populists will hopefully lead to more trust in experts, and how the Weimar republic can teach us lessons.

Quote of the episode ‘The more abject the disorder, often the more extreme the tyranny to follow, and that brings us to Weimar’s last chapter’

And now that we are with Evergreen we are gonna be making more YouTube Videos Check out Kaplan on Why is the Left so Timid?

US PLANS TO RESETTLE A MILLION PALESTINIANS TO LIBYA

Incident: On 16 May, America’s NBC News reported that the Trump administration is working on a ‘plan’ to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya in exchange for the potential release of billions of dollars of frozen LIA assets held in the U.S. as an incentive quo. Prior to the leak there were already discussions with Libyan and Israeli leadership.

According to NBC News’s subsequent reports, the plan faces significant obstacles, including substantial costs, logistical challenges related to transportation (air, land, and sea), and the potential strain on Libya's fragile infrastructure, given its population size and the ongoing war and bifurcation of institutions. Arab nations have also been extremely critical of the idea.
