Public Service Announcement: Disorder in Action-- GMT vs EDT diglossia started today March 9 and lasts until BST/EDT alignment on March 30

My Dear Mega Orderers,

And you thought listening to a geopolitics podcast and following its newsletter contained no practical or useful information and was only for ‘staying informed’ or for ‘entertainment value’. How wrong you were!

This is my yearly message to remind people that the US has just gone into daylight savings time and hence in NYC/DC/NJ/Florida, etc. EST has changed to EDT. But of course here in these glorious sunbaked isles, we are still on GMT and in the EU they are still on CEST.

I remember always thinking that this shit is as dumb as major allied nations that border each other having different kinds of plugs and driving on the left vs the right, but the more I think about it, it is in fact dumber and could be changed much easier. What is the dumbest thing is if you search ‘when is daylight savings time start’ and you are in Britain you get the answers for america so you could easily get confused and think it has started here.

Changing plugs is hard as there would be a million outlets to redo and devices to remake. Changing driving direction is nearly impossible:

But this shit with the different times of switching from Winter to Summer time is really crazy, the amount of missed online meetings and missed media recordings that happen in these weeks probably has a far greater economic impact than having to switch plugs if it was just declared a decade in advance. That we start AND STOP our daylight savings on different times is the global disorder in microcosm. If you might think it would make sense to have a northern european place like britain switch at a different time of year than southerly place like miami, you are thinking of the problem incorrectly as Canada switches on the American dates and Spain, Greece, and Malta, etc switch at the american time switch, it is simply arbitrary and geographical reason would actual indicate doing it the opposite or better yet and making a compromise and having the whole northern hemisphere who uses this device to switch at the same time.

So this is my public service message to all I know.. The time difference btw New York and London is now 4 hours instead of its normal 5 hours. It reverts to being its normal 5 hours Sunday Morning March 30th. Why they do not make a bigger deal of this in the global media, I will never understand. It is clearly a conspiracy perpetrated by the global elites who constitute a pedophilia ring and are trying to bring in migrants to dilute the white race.

Lastly, I always love closing any info on day light savings time with this fun fact that during WWII, Churchill decided that all of the UK would be on summer time throughout the whole war but then in the summer would have double summer time (i.e. two hours ahead of GMT). This is one of the absolutely fascinating facts of the war that most people don't know! The idea is it meant that people didn't have to commute home in the dark even in the winter and face German bombing raids and supposedly it saved electricity and caused less crude and refined oil consumption. The US adopted a similar scheme after Pearl Harbor. So if this is true, why don't we all have permanent extra summer time to combat climate change? Oh where is my global governance when I am searching for it? Do people in the climate change debate even know about this? What if I want to stop agonizing over Libya and book writing and dedicate my life to campaign for extra summer time for the entire northern hemisphere? Would probably be easier to make a positive impact...
