Happy Easter Mega Orderers,

For the first time in a while all major Christian denominations (Catholic/Protestant, Orthodox, Armenian, Nestorian, etc) are celebrating together!

The alignment of standards and unity of experience is something I really like. I just want us all to have the same plugs, drive on the same side of the road, pay the same rate of taxes, and celebrate our holidays at the same time.

I’ve decided to celebrate by presenting some memes I found on my FB feed today.

It is worth noting in passing that today is 136 years since Hitler’s Birthday and we are bound to doff our caps and say plus ca change plus c’est la même chose. Hitler understood that the Austria of his childhood and the Weimar Germany of his adulthood were dysfunctional and bogged down by process and ripe for an overthrow.

I was recently interviewed by Metro Magazine in the UK about how Trump might invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act. Bizarrely the journalist who interviewed me (who I really like) spoke about conspiracy theories circulating the internet about how Trump would do that on Hitler’s Birthday today. Those left-wing conspiratorial nut jobs seemed to forget that this administration doesn’t work on the weekends, especially not on Christian holidays when they can get more preferable tee-times at the Golf course when genuinely believing Christians are at Church.

Donald Trump could be setting the stage for something Americans once believed unimaginable – martial law on their own soil.

As ‘Hands Off!’ protests erupted across all 50 states over the weekend, the US president did not urge for calm or unity. Instead, he defended his policy to deport immigrants, or as the White House called them, ‘illegal aliens’.

Jason Pack, host of the Disorder Podcast, told Metro about America’s path to martial law under Trump and how it may be ‘the only way for him to stay in power’.

What would be Trump’s ‘excuse’ for martial law?

Claims about Trump’s plan to declare martial law on April 20 – a date also known for being Adolf Hitler’s birthday – first began circulating on TikTok over the weekend.
